This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Christopher Spencer Parks who was born in New Jersey on July 15, 1975 and passed away on November 27, 2006 at the age of 31 years, 4 months, 13 days.

Spencer

Parks

On Sunday November 27, 2011 it will be the fifth anniversary of Chris's passinng. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. If he has had a positive impact on your life, pass it forward.

I learned so much about life from Chris.
He believed:

-Diversity keeps the world interesting and should be embraced by all
-One person does not own another
-Never compromise your passion
-People often look at something and see
nothing
-Animals are kinder than people
-Equality is a birthright
-Art is everywhere
-Wind blowing through your hair feels like freedom.
-The beauty of a rose can never be duplicated.
-If you have two winter coats, give one away.
-Older people carry the wisdom that younger people seek. They are awesome.
-To promote one religion is to deny the beliefs of others.
-Butterflies should be set free.
-Accept without judgment.

Chris wrote in an essay on "Creation" ,"My heart is painted in these magnificent colors that float me with inner ecstasy and compassion for all"

Chris gave all he could to each of us in his 31 years and 4 months on earth. He rests in heaven for five years. He is in our hearts forever.

Rest in Peace my precious son.-Your canvas was left undone. We celebrate your life but there should have been so much more to come.

Forever in my heart-Mommy
Rest in Peace

"There's no tragedy in life like the death of a child. Things never get back to the way they were!" Dwight D. Eisenhower
